About Dr. Revuelta
Alyssa Revuelta is a licensed clinical psychologist. Dr. Revuelta completed her undergraduate studies at the University of Miami in Coral Gables, FL. After obtaining her Bachelor's of Science degree in Psychobiology, she underwent her graduate studies at The George Washington University in Washington, DC, where she obtained her doctoral degree in Clinical Psychology. Dr. Revuelta completed her predoctoral Clinical Psychology internship at the Mailman Center for Child Development at the University of Miami School of Medicine in Miami, FL. Furthermore, Dr. Revuelta completed a three year postdoctoral fellowship in Pediatric Psychology in the Division of Oncology at the Children's Hospital of Philadelphia (CHOP), in Philadelphia, PA.
After completing her postdoctoral fellowship, Dr. Revuelta remained at CHOP as a staff psychologist in the Division of Oncology where she provided intervention and evaluation services to children and their families undergoing cancer and was also involved in the training of graduate students and predoctoral Clinical Psychology interns.
Upon moving to Charleston, SC, Dr. Revuelta decided to open her private practice and provide both general child and specialized pediatric psychology services to the children and families of the greater Charleston area. Dr. Revuelta is fluent in Spanish and has experience providing psychological services to Spanish-speaking children and families.
